Wake Up Call for Americans!

Financial Picture a Complete Train Wreck!

Crowded out by news about Venezuela, Iran, Greenland, and Minnesota, Americans may be missing out on what Washington has done to us financially.

It is not a pretty picture.  Indeed, it is so bad on so many fronts that one hardly knows where to start.  But it's always a good idea to take a look at the debt because debt  doesn't go away on its own.

Last year Washington added $1 trillion to the US national debt every 150 days.  Now it adds $1 trillion in additional debt every 71 days.

In 2024, the gross interest on the US national debt exceeded $1 trillion for the first time ever.

Well, if the interest on the debt is already eating us up alive, what happens when interest rates go up?

The problem worsens.

Both President Trump and the Federal Reserve are under the illusion that the central bank controls interest rates.  But the Fed has cut rates three times since September, and yet the benchmark ten-year Treasury yield has gone up.

Stating what this means succinctly, while the debt is going up, the interest rates Washington must pay are going up, too.

We are watching a train wreck in slow motion.

As our friends and clients all know, we have been describing this situation as it developed and urging you to protect yourselves with gold and silver.  Along the way most of the financial community ignored the gathering storm and failed to alert their clients.  But conditions are now so crititcal that even the most establishment of establishment institutions can no longer look away.

We point you to recent remarks from Larry Fink.  He is the CEO of Blackrock, the world's largest asset management firm with $14 trillion of assets under management:

Interest on the US debt is ultimately what's predicted to destroy the US economy. That debt payments will eventually grow out of control, and the dollar will be abandoned because it essentially turns into monopoly money. A fair amount of folks believe the US debt is already out of control, which is why they're swapping to actual long-term assets like precious metals, nuclear goods, or refinement.

Use the early days of this new year to align your investments and savings with the reality of unpayable US debt.  Limit your exposure to things that are denominated in US dollars and speak with a Republic Monetary Exchange precious metals professional about a plan for the global monetary reset underway now.
